Role Overview:

As a Senior Python Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services in a Linux environment. You will ensure secure integrations, high availability, and smooth system upgrades, while collaborating with the team to optimize performance, manage dependencies, and support reliable production operations.

Role insights:

• Perform OS-level operations and troubleshooting (Linux / RHEL 9).
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Python backend services and APIs.
• Integrate systems with Active Directory (LDAP) for secure authentication.
• Manage and upgrade Python environments (versions, dependencies, security).
• Plan and execute upgrades, including impact analysis and testing.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for high availability.
• Maintain clear and concise technical documentation.

We’ll know you can make it if you have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related field.
• 3 years of expiriance as a Python backend developer.
• Strong knowledge of Django.
• Experience with Active Directory / LDAP integration.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in production environments.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Fluent in English (German is a plus).
