Application Support Manager
What you do
Lead and manage the applications support team to ensure high-quality service delivery
Oversee daily operations related to application monitoring, issue resolution, and user support
Ensure system availability, performance, and reliability across supported applications
Manage incident, problem, and change processes following IT service management best practices (e.g., ITIL)
Coordinate with infrastructure, development, cybersecurity, and business teams to resolve complex issues
Maintain application support documentation, procedures, and knowledge base resources
Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Plan upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities with minimal business disruption
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within application support
Manage vendor relationships and third-party application providers when applicable
Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning for supported systems
What you offer
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in application support or IT operations
2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of enterprise applications and support environments
Familiarity with ticketing systems and monitoring tools
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
