Cloud Platform Operations Intern – Student position

Hourly rate: 6 EUR/hour

Join Cloud Platform Delivery Center which is a part of A1’s Competence Delivery Center (CDC), a vital hub of expertise supporting A1’s telecommunications operations across multiple countries. As a part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud technology and operations, contributing to the strategic initiatives that drive A1’s cloud platform forward.

As a Cloud Platform Operations Intern, you will support the Cloud Platform Delivery Center Leads and Head of Cloud Platform Delivery Center in managing the end-to-end delivery of cloud technologies within whole A1 Group. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in IT management, strategic operations and cloud computing. You will assist in the help with research, preparation of various materials, coordination of cloud projects, track progress against goals, and help ensure that our cloud services meet the high standards expected by A1’s various operational companies (OpCos).

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation & Reporting:
•    Prepare and maintain documentation related to cloud platform strategies, project plans etc.
•    Assist in creating reports and presentations that monitor progress against SLAs and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Operational Support:
•    Help monitor and report on the performance of cloud services, identifying potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
•    Support the automation initiatives by assisting in the development of processes and tools to streamline operations.
Project Support:
•    Assist in the coordination and tracking of cloud migration projects, helping to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
•    Support the development of strategic documents and implementation roadmaps for cloud initiatives.
Team Collaboration:
•    Work closely with the cloud delivery team to support daily operations, including communication with various stakeholders across the A1 Group as part of demand management process.
•    Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and collaborative sessions aimed at enhancing cloud service delivery.
 

Qualifications:

•    Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economy, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related fields.
•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•    Ability to work with project management tools and create structured reports.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•    Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
•    Basic understanding of cloud technologies (knowledge of Azure or Exoscale is a plus).
•    Eager to learn and grow in the field of IT management and cloud.
•    A proactive approach to problem-solving with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
•    Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work setting.
