Cyber Security and Data Protection Specialist

What you do
Establish, implement, and maintain the information security management system to safeguard our organization's data and systems.
Monitor security appliances, threats, and vulnerabilities, and initiate remediation processes for affected systems.
Perform comprehensive risk assessments and develop risk treatment strategies to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
Conduct thorough investigations, coordination, reporting, and mitigation of cyber security incidents.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's cyber security strategy.
Develop and maintain cyber security policies, rulebooks, procedures, and guidelines.
Conduct internal security awareness and education programs for employees.
Act as the main point of contact and advisor for security aspects during the implementation of various projects.
Manage and operate the company's security systems, including DLP, DDOS, FAM/DAM, vulnerability scanners, EDR, MFA, etc.
Monitor and analyze SIEM event data to proactively prevent and detect security incidents.
Organize and perform external and internal penetration tests to assess the security posture of our systems.
Contribute to the planning and utilization of budgets for cybersecurity-related initiatives.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
Actively participate in cyber security teams and projects within A1 Telekom Austria Group.
 

What you offer
Relevant certifications (e.g.CEH, Security+, CCNA, MSCA, Blue Team Level 1, CTIA, ECIH, OSDA) are a plus.
Familiarity with Cybersecurity and System or Network Administration, emphasizing blue team responsibilities.
At least 1 year experience in areas such as: Cyber Security, System Administration, Network Administration
Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Valid driving license B category.
Business English speaker with efficient written skills.
